Task: Research Implementation - Draft Dissertation


At this stage, students will begin to put together relevant primary and secondary data to form analysis, discussion and conclusion revolving around their research problem. This is where the draft of the dissertation is the outcome. Students are to utilise primary and secondary data to write an in-depth evaluation, no less than 7000 words, that critically analyses and discusses their research problem and arrives at a conclusion. 

The contents of the dissertation are as follows:
• Acknowledgements
• Abstract
• Table of Contents page
• Introduction to the dissertation
   o Research Rational, Research Theme/Topic and Research Problem
   o Problem statement
   o Research objectives
   o Research questions
   o Research Conceptual Framework Diagram
• Literature review
• Research Methodology
• Results/ Findings
• Analysis and discussion
• Conclusion
• Project Recommendation / Future Research
• Reference list
• Picture credit list
• Appendices (sample interview questions and questionnaire questions)


Draft Dissertation Final Submission



Reflection

In this task, I focused on combining primary and secondary data to analyze my research questions. A key challenge was integrating the data I collected with existing literature in a clear and organized way. Writing over 7,000 words helped me improve the structure of my work and present ideas more clearly. I learned to select content carefully so that each part supported my main arguments and conclusions.
