Task 1 : Thematic Interactive Website Proposal
We are required to create a thematic interactive website proposal with the
topic of their choice that can be based on:
1. A specific product from a brand launch/special edition
2. Movie promotion
3. Game release promotion
4. Gallery/Museum exhibit launch
5. Band/Artist latest release
I decided to focus on a watch product.
Ultimately, I chose the Longines brand, specifically the Spirit Flyback series.

Concept
The goal of the website for the Longines Spirit Flyback is to immerse users in the world of adventure, showcasing the essence of the watch's pioneering spirit. The site will highlight the watch's key features through interactive elements, while also exploring its connection to aviation pioneers like Richard Byrd. Inspired by Longines’ legacy, the design will reflect the adventure and aviation theme of the Spirit Flyback, incorporating elements like the sky and airplanes to evoke the spirit of exploration.

1. Introduction Page:
Users land on the homepage and are greeted with an introduction to the Longines Spirit Flyback, highlighting its adventurous essence.
2. Backstory Page (The Aviation Pioneer - Richard Byrd):
Users explore the connection between Longines and aviation pioneers, focusing on Richard Byrd’s expeditions.
3. Mechanical Movement Page:
Users view detailed visuals and descriptions of the Spirit Flyback's internal craftsmanship and key features.
4. Gallery Page:
Users browse high-resolution images showcasing the watch from various angles.
5. Collection Page:
Users explore the different models of the Spirit Flyback and their pricing. A "Shop Now" button links to the official Longines store.
6. Contact & FAQ Page:
Users can find answers to common questions and connect with Longines via social media for further assistance. A "Learn More" button links to the official Longines website.
Final Proposal Submission
REFLECTION
For this task, one of the initial challenges was deciding on a subject for the proposal. I had many options to choose from, such as perfumes, movie promotions, and album launches, but ultimately, I decided on watches. After thorough research, I chose the Longines Spirit Flyback watch series because of its rich history, connection to aviation pioneers, and its balance of luxury and adventure.
This decision set the tone for the entire proposal. Diving into Longines's history and understanding its connection to aviation pioneers like Richard Byrd inspired the central theme of my design.
Overall, this task improved my skills in structuring content and helped me focus on aligning design with brand identity. It also laid the foundation for the next stage, where I would bring the concepts to life through prototypes and interaction design.
